  1. In view of Wednesdays Government announcement the British Motor Museum has taken the decision to postpone next week's ‘Gaydon Gathering’. The first of these new events will now take place on Tuesday 13 October.

Jeff Coope, Managing Director at the British Motor Museum said "Safety is our number one priority and we feel that, given these recent developments, the responsible approach is to delay the launch of this exciting new format until October. The event will remain free but admission will be by ticket only, with limited numbers to ensure everyone's safety. We appreciate the support we have received and hope that everyone who was due to attend will understand our decision. We look forward to welcoming our visitors instead on Tuesday 13 October".

This new, informal event will be held outdoors on the Museum’s arenas. Updated details will be available on the British Motor Museum website where visitors will also be able to book their October Gaydon Gathering FREE ticket. Tickets are subject to availability and can be booked up to 12noon on the day. There will be no admission without a ticket.

The Museum will continue to monitor the Government advice and keep visitors informed of any changes.  Names and contact details will be taken at the time of booking to comply with NHS Test and Trace and visitors will be required to observe social distancing.

  2. All of us here at Ace Cafe London are thrilled to welcome you back for our 27th annual Ace Cafe Reunion weekend, which will take place on the 4th, 5th and 6th of September 2020.

During the weekend we will be throwing a welcome back party with competitions, judging of bikes, awards, Rock’n’Roll DJing and a delicious barbecue in addition to our regular menu, to celebrate all things on two wheels!

The Mayor of Brent, The 59 Club amongst other invited guests will be with us on Sunday the 6th.

Due to the current Covid-19 circumstances and to ensure everyone attending stays safe, we will be operating a first-come first-served policy during the Reunion weekend, which includes access to both the Cafe and the carpark perimeter.

It may be necessary from time to restrict entry if we reach full capacity. With this in mind, we want to thank all of our diligent customers who have supported the cafe since we reopened after lockdown. You have all been fantastic in complying with the safety regulations so far and we hope to welcome you to the Reunion with the same level of consideration and care.
