On the 1st floor there is a further 2 bedrooms (a double and twin), with a shared WC/shower-room, self-catering kitchen and 'common-room'.

An ideal touring base and located within easy reach of picturesque towns and villages, Tarbert Castle, Inverary, Connel Bridge that spans Loch Etive and the fishing port of Oban.

Owner Pam designed and managed the whole build, believes in the community ethos of hostelling and is on hand to help ensure you have an enjoyable stay.

Craigard House Hotel

Craigard House Hotel, Biker Friendly, Campbeltown, Argyll, Scotland Nestling in a tranquil cul de sac, a stones throw from the Harbour and the Town Centre, Craigard House Hotel offers a quiet setting overlooking Campbeltown Loch.

A recently converted Victorian mansion, originally built by a Whisky Distiller, for a friendly and informal stay, in thirteen comfortable and well-appointed rooms, with Breakfast included in all accommodation options.

Situated on the Kintyre peninsula, the fishing port of Campbeltown has a history of shipbuilding and the production of whisky. A scenic route on the A83 from Inveraray, via Ardrishaig, Tarbert to Campbeltown.
Enjoyable scenic circular ride on the Learside coast road to Southend, past St Columba’s Footsteps and Cave and on to the Mull of Kintyre Lighthouse, then back to Campbeltown, via Stewarton.

The hearty Breakfast will give you a good start to the day, and includes fresh fruit salad, porridge, local Smoked Salmon, Smoked Haddock and Kippers, as well as the Full Scottish Breakfast and much more. For dinner (6-9pm), The Lochside Restaurant, awarded ‘Taste the Best’ by Visit Scotland for several years, specialises in freshly prepared local seafood and shellfish from Kintyre waters; Lamb, Beef and Pork from nearby farms, and award-winning Kintyre cheeses and Campbeltown Smoked produce.

A welcoming lounge and bar, sea view patio garden with seating area, for an opportunity to relax with some of the local and international ales and beers, eclectic fine wines and a great range of Campbeltown, Island and Highland Malts and enjoy the splendid views over Campbeltown Loch.
