To date, Sam has rescued over 1,500 children from the hands of evil warlords who make sons kill their parents and who take small female children away and exploit them in the sex and slave trade and he currently feeds over 12,000 children, widows and orphans a day.
"I will guarantee that you will never meet a preacher like Sam again.... He is unique - a one-off."
In his former life, he dealt drugs and was an enforcer (a hired gun) for one of America’s most notorious motorcycle gangs, before his conversion to Christianity and him finding his mission - to save children in war-torn East Africa.
In 2013 Sam received the Mother Teresa Award for International Social Justice (the largest award of its type in the world for International Social Justice) and he is the only American ever to be bestowed with that honour (the Dalai Lama and UK House of Lords rep, Baroness Caroline Cox were also bestowed with this award in previous years).
Bikers are very welcome to this event, especially as Sam is a biker. Go along and listen to this great inspiring man speak and bring as many fellow bikers with you as you wish to. Just pre-book to secure your space.
The organisers have even arranged to have MGP (Machine Gun Preacher) and AOEAUK (Angels of East Africa UK) biker patches available on the day. Sam Childers - Angels of East Africa UK - The Real Machine Gun Preacher
There will also be books, dvd’s and t-shirts available for those who wish to purchase them and Sam will gladly sign them for you.
venue: Hayling Island Community Centre, Station Road, Hayling Island, Hampshire, PO11 0HB
The event is free and if you would like to attend, then just contact Mark or Deborah Dawes on 02392 460815 or by email at [email protected] to secure your space.
A free event - Sam Childers, The Real Machine Gun Preacher (not the Hollywood Gerard Butler), is coming back to Hayling Island 16th March 2018...

The Manx Motor Cycle Club, organisers of the Manx Grand Prix, are pleased to announce an additional race to the 2018 Race Programme with a second Lightweight Race added to the traditional schedule on the last race day and expected to quickly become an integral part of the event.
Practising for this year’s event will commence on Saturday 18 August with the MGP Races starting on Monday 27 August when the four lap Newcomers Race will signal the start of the five race programme. Wednesday 29 August features the Junior Race in the morning followed by the first Lightweight MGP Race later in the day.
Friday 31 August will see the second Lightweight Race open proceedings followed by the Blue Riband Senior Manx Grand Prix.
Club Chairman, Harvey Garton, commented:
“Following feedback from the 2017 races, it was acknowledged that the event would benefit from two races on the final day and the club felt the best way forward was to incorporate a second Lightweight Race to complement the very popular Senior Manx Grand Prix.” There's good news for fans wanting to experience the Manx Grand Prix in person. Information on travel and accommodation options as well as grandstand seats can be obtained from the Isle of Man Festival of Motorcycling’s authorised Travel Partners - iomtt travel - by calling +44 (0) 1624 640 011.

NUVIZ Inc., creators of the first all-in-one head-up display (HUD) for motorcyclists, announced today that its flagship NUVIZ HUD system has been named a CES 2018 Best of Innovation Awards Honouree.
The NUVIZ HUD system integrates navigation, communication, photo and video, and music into one device, enabling motorcycle riders to stay connected—but not distracted—and eliminates the need for other single-purpose devices, mounts, and cables that clutter the bike or rider’s helmet.
“Motorcycling can be a dangerous sport that requires constant focus on the road, yet virtually every bike out there requires the rider to look down frequently at their gauges, and smartphone apps for music, calling, and navigation dramatically increase rider distractions,” said Marcel Rogalla, Founder and CEO at NUVIZ. “We have designed the NUVIZ HUD to simplify riding, minimise distractions, and keep the rider informed. We are delighted to be recognised by the CTA for achieving these goals with a product that is truly in a class by itself.”
NUVIZ includes software updates for future features and functionality and access to international maps for world travellers. NUVIZ is available from rideNUVIZ.com with an RRP of €699/£615. They benefit from free shipping, a 30-day returns policy and one-year warranty as standard.
Products entered in the prestigious CES Innovation Awards program, sponsored by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), are judged by a panel of independent industrial designers, independent engineers, and members of the trade media. Their mission is to honour outstanding design and engineering in cutting-edge consumer electronics products across 28 product categories.
Entries are evaluated on a set of guidelines including the product’s engineering, aesthetic and design qualities, intended use/function and user value, unique/novel features present, and how the design and innovation of the product directly compares to other products in the marketplace.
NUVIZ will be displayed at CES 2018, which runs January 9-12, 2018, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Best of Innovation Honourees are also displayed at CES Unveiled New York from 3 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. on November 9 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York, and CES Unveiled Las Vegas from 5 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. on January 7 at the Shorelines Exhibit Hall in Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
