In the Sprint, however, we definitely made a good start, and then we also had a little bit of luck with a few overtakes. “The idea was to stay behind Marc and Bezzecchi. I knew we could match their pace and maybe the three of us could pull away. Then Diggia passed me, and the others, Pedro and Raul, also joined us. With so many bikes ahead, the tyre pressure went up and it was impossible to overtake. We learned something for tomorrow, and we need to make sure we control our position over the first two or three laps.”
