  1. HOLIDAYS OVER: MARQUEZ AND DIGGIA EAGER FOR ACTION AT SILVERSTONE

    Posted on

“A five, six-week break, can’t remember…” or “Enough with these holidays!”, this was a perfectly summarised common thinking at Gresini, written with the words of the team standard bearers Alex Marquez and Fabio Di Giannantonio. The last race was on June 26th at Assen, and now Silverstone is around the corner with both the Spaniard and the Italian fresh and ready for action.”

Both managed to rest, train and ride (even though it was a Panigale) at Misano in two separate days. The few kms completed helped shake some rust off and find the speed back. Di Giannantonio’s test was delay for a few days due to the right arm pump surgery he had to undergo.

The second part of the season is fast approaching and full of events, meaning a good start in England will be key for everyone and the track is a favourite one for both Alex and Diggia. The prerequisites are all there…

    ALEX MARQUEZ #73
“Five or six weeks of break… I lost count. Holidays are always important to charge the batteries and now I’m looking forward to getting back on track and re-join the team. Silverstone is a very demanding track and I rested during this break, but also worked hard to be ready for what is a very important second part of the season. I like the English track, weather aside, and I can’t wait to be back.”

    FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO #49
“It’s time to get back on the bike, enough with these holidays! The break was too long, but on one side it allowed to undergo arm pump surgery and to fully recover… On the other hand, we need to get back in the swing of things on the bike. Silverstone is an excellent track, among the longest ones on the calendar, and we’re really charged up. We need to take flip-flops off and put the boots back on as soon as possible!”

  2. APRILIA RACING AT GOODWOOD, IN THE TEMPLE OF MOTORSPORT

    Posted on

For every motorsport fan, of all eras, the Goodwood Festival of Speed represents a unique and unmissable opportunity to see the legends of two and four-wheel racing come together.

This year Aprilia will have the honour of taking part in this sort of Woodstock of engines, held at the Goodwood Circuit near the south coast of England, bringing the latest evolution of the Italian MotoGP project to the attention of the ever knowledgeable public.

The Aprilia RS-GP 2023, the highest and most advanced expression of research and technology applied to a racing bike, will be the protagonist along the legendary asphalt of the Goodwood Hillclimb, ridden by riders Lorenzo Savadori, Miguel Oliveira and Raùl Fernandez.

From Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th July, the roar of the Italian V4 will echo through the English countryside during an event that will see, in addition to the MotoGP riders, many other motorsport icons riding (or at the wheel) of equally exceptional vehicles.

For those who do not have the opportunity to attend this extraordinary event in person, the weekend's activities can be followed through the official Goodwood FOS channels and on Aprilia's social media profiles.

MONITORS, INTERACTIVE DISPLAYS AND CUSTOMISED NOTEBOOKS ACCOMPANY THE VARIOUS APRILIA RACING ACTIVITIES

Since the MotoGP 2023 season, Yashi has been a technology partner and sponsor of Aprilia Racing, enriching both the garage and hospitality areas of GPs and the Noale racing department with high-performance products.

Aprilia Racing engineers and technicians, as well as the team members assigned to the various functions, have at their disposal monitors, interactive displays, multimedia tables and totems that are valuable working tools, both in the more technical, track and performance-related activities, and in the PR and hospitality duties that affect life in the MotoGP paddock.

Yashi was founded in the late 1990s with a clearly defined mission: to design and develop displays with distinctive identities in the IT world. Today Yashi is known for its Pioneer series monitors and All-in-One, Totem and Interactive Displays. Style and innovative technology are successful elements of these products. PCs, MINI PCs and Notebooks also complete the Yashi portfolio.

Aprilia MotoGP riders Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales were also able to experience the quality of Yashi products at first hand, with the delivery of two fully customised notebooks (evocatively named "Suzuka"). Examples of the 'Taylor Made' service that Yashi is able to offer to all its customers.

The technical collaboration between two companies so focused on innovation is constantly evolving, with the aim of bringing ever more winning solutions to the track.

All the fans in the grandstand will receive that Aprilia Racing kit which also includes the special T-shirt made to support residents of Emilia-Romagna, recently struck by flooding. The GP of San Marino will also be a chance to contribute to the fund raising efforts in support of the Emilia Romagna Civil Protection, a time to stand by and provide concrete help to a region which every motorsport enthusiast holds dear to their hearts.

The days will also be enriched by both special guests and by constant entertainment which, in true Aprilia style, will add just the right dose of fun to the adrenaline-filled activities on the track.

  5. BERNER AND GRESINI RENEW PARTNERSHIP ALSO IN 2023

    Posted on

BERNER, a German multinational company specialised in the Chemical sector and B2B hardware, is living a period of deep transformation following a rebranding process. The company, which offers chemical products as well as premium solutions for maintenance in the Mobility, handicraft and industrial sectors, has renewed its partnership with Team Gresini also for the year 2023. The relationship between these two institutions is a long-lasting one, with this season marking year 18 of history together.

BERNER has changed its appearance with a new layout and colours, but the collaboration with Team Gresini remains a solid and decisive one. BERNER’s new Smart Rebel philosophy aims at pushing past boundaries, while being open to new challenges. This though is in line with Team Gresini’s core, a group that never settles and catches any opportunity to be number one.

ANTONIO ZUFFELLATO – BERNER ITALIA MARKETING DIRECTOR

“The partnership renewal with Team Gresini is a reason of pride for our company. Not only because both believe in the improvement and great opportunities that only challenges can provide, but also because it reminds us that our solutions, which are used for preparing and cleaning motorcycles, are both reliable and performing. Sporting competition, passion for motorcycling, and the fact that we are indeed ‘smart rebels’ are key points that tie our worlds together and that make us partner in such an intense and fruitful way.”

CARLO MERLINI – GRESINI RACING MARKETING AND COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

“The collaboration with BERNER is an important page in the history of Gresini Racing. This obviously is about its two-decade duration, but also and especially concerns the mutual values this partnership is based and developed upon. The collaboration with BERNER extends on the product side: BERNER has always been synonymous with performing and reliable solutions, from chemicals to tools and consumables, which are able to satisfy all needs and enable to tackle challenges, even the most extreme ones, that MotoGP competition puts ahead of us.”
