  2. We had all set off early for the day, my brother came with us and Sarah, his sister-in-law was pillion that day. We set off from Huddersfield up towards Devils Bridge in Kirkby Lonsdale for breakfast. Then rode to Lake Windermere for lunch back down through The Trough and Forest of Bowland for afternoon tea.

Puddleducks Cafe is where we had afternoon tea at Dunsop Bridge, this is where the attached photographs were taken. It was a full days riding and very eventful.

As we left Devils Bridge, the four riders got split up in traffic and ended up taking two different routes to Windermere - myself and Roz went via Newby Bridge, my brother Simon, his sister-in-law pillion Sarah and Jackie went direct through Levens and Crosthwaite, surprisingly ending up at Windermere with less than five minutes between us!

It was a brilliant laughter filled day, with some fantastic roads to ride.
