  1. As visitors of THE BIKER GUIDE we are asking for your help...

Help wanted at THE BIKER GUIDESince launch in 2009, the website has seen millions of visitors, many of those using us to source information for their Biking lifestyle, for trips, products, events and even to find a wife (A visitor met his future wife at a cafe which was featured on the website).

The aim was (and is) to give you a free and easy to use website, packed full of information for the Biker Community, including an extensive What's On section, Motorcycle cafes and meets, genuine Biker Friendly Accommodation and lots of companies aimed at owners of Motorbikes.  THE BIKER GUIDE website is not overloaded with glary adverts from non-relevant companies and we do not include a place to stay that we would not stop at ourselves, however in not doing this we are indeed missing out on the revenue that others gain from this...

So that we can continue to bring you all the easy to find information, shower you with lots of free to enter competitions to win holidays, clothing, books, stickers and more, we are not asking for money or a donation, all we ask is that you like and invite your friends to our facebook page, continue to use our website to look for Genuine Biker Friendly places to stay, to buy clothing, parts and accessories, to find events, to book touring holidays, send us recommendations and information... Think of us as Google/Yellow Pages for Bikers!

  2. The 4th Manchester Bike Show/Northern Classic Bike Show will be returning to EventCity on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March 2015.

The Manchester Bike Show/Northern Classic Bike ShowSince the show was launched in 2012 the floor space taken up by the event has doubled as indeed have the number of bikes on display, the number of traders attending and the number of people visiting. This trend is sure to carry on the same trajectory in 2015 with the recent demise of the January motorcycle show at GMEX/Manchester Central. The Manchester Bike Show at EventCity in March is therefore not only the biggest and best show, it is indeed now the only indoor motorcycle show in the north of England. Clearly holding a motorcycle show at a venue next to the motorway network with easy access and free parking turned out to be a no brainer, just as we predicted it would!

As in previous years all the main manufacturers, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Ducati, Triumph etc will have a presence at the show, in 2015 this will be in the fully carpeted Hall 4. In addition the large hall to the rear of the building will be full to the rafters of bike clubs, private entries and smaller traders with many clubs and individual entries already being confirmed to attend. The big news for next year however will be that the Auto Cycle Union (ACU) will be expanding their presence to include race trucks, bikes and riders from various BSB and WSB teams.

We are still waiting for full confirmation as to exactly which teams and riders will be in attendance but as we speak things are shaping up nicely. Advance tickets for the show at discount prices are on sale now via our website www.manchesterbikeshow.com with sales exceeding last years total at the same stage on the lead up to Christmas. Trade stands are available at the show to suit all budgets with the floorplan being open for companies no matter how large or small to reserve a stand.

Here at ClassicShows we are confident that the “show full” signs will be out well before the Manchester Bike Show opens it’s doors to the public on 28th March 2015.
