Work for THE BIKER GUIDE
We are currently looking for someone, who has previous experience of magazine/print and/or web advertising, is organised, a self-starter, has excellent communication and customer care skills, can generate well written e-mails, has a professional sales manner and who will not damage our brand with hard selling.
Ideally you would work Tuesday to Thursday, for two to three hours a day, between 10.30 - 12.30am and 2 - 3pm, on a self-employed basis and for approximately 6 - 9 hours a week. Generally we have work in March, April, May and June, with more work available after August through to the end of October.
In brief, you would contact potential advertisers to place an advert within website and the yearly printed publication, for specified sections. As we are a niche publication, tele-sales have a high conversion rate.
You should be able to sell 2-3 smaller adverts in a 3 hour short day, worth approximately £210. With a 25% commission fee, this would be £52.50 paid to you. There are various advertising options at higher rates, so the earning would then be much higher. It is up to your skill levels, knowledge of the industry and also how much time you can commit, which will result in the amount you earn.
We provide website/email leads for calling, usually fresh ones which have not been called before, however most will have shown an interest in our website and will have already received information from us via our e-shot service… so they are already aware of THE BIKER GUIDE and in many cases welcome the call.
Knowledge of the Motorcycle industry is preferred, however not essential. Mentoring is provided (if needed) and various marketing e-mails, f&b’s, scripts and more will be provided to you.
All you need to set up is a computer, some time, a phone, a professional attitude, some experience and an e-mail account.
