Landlord Julian Ions is keen to share his top tips and favourite routes with fellow riders.

There are seven en-suite rooms offering comfortable accommodation, with a welcoming log fire, awarded local ales and a restaurant serving home-cooked food sourced as locally as possible.

Just off the A68, close to Otterburn, Hexham Abbey and Kielder Water & Forest Park, as well as the road en-route to Alston and Cumbria. A great place to stop on the way to or from Scotland.
