Just stayed at the Chapel Croft Guest House (found on THE BIKER GUIDE) for one night...
A lovely stay, lovely big room and a garage for motorcycles. Very friendly owners and a great breakfast!
This would be a great place to stay if your a motorcyclist.
Elaine's Tea Rooms - Called there 8th April for great home cooked Sunday lunch and pud. Great meal and friendly staff looked after our group, thanks!
.
A lovely tearoom just off the A65 and within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, that has become a popular place to head to for great home cooked food and drinks, along with some of Yorkshire's finest views.
Open daily, 9am - 4.30pm, all year round. Plenty of parking available. Popular on Sundays with visiting Bikers.

We've received some great bookings through THE BIKER GUIDE and have consequently met some lovely guests over the last couple of years.
Long may it continue!
I have just got back from Guesthouse-Poelkapelle in Belgium.
It had everything that I needed. They now have 8 double rooms so perfect for Bikers.
Excellent breakfast, continental, with cereals and choice of eggs so fine for us British visitors. Parked my Diversion in the courtyard overnight. I was very satisfied, so I have booked up for a three night weekend in October.
Can certainly recommend Sue and her staff at the Cross Keys Hotel. We had a great stay there in June last year.
The food was absolutely first class (can highly recommend Sues homemade Steak pie)! The breakfast was also exceptionally good. Looking forward to going back this year
I had a very good season and we never had more English visitors than this year.
A lot of people found us in the booklet or on your website.
Keep up the good work.
Great site! i notice you don't have listings for biker pubs in Kent. How would I forward them onto you as we have loads that may come in handy for touring?
Russ
Many thanks for your guestbook comment.
We have a section for Cafes, Pubs and Meets in Kent here
Just a quick message to say thank you for your advert.
We have received great feedback from your listing of The Empire Diner and speaking to the Bikers that have come in lately, it is because they have looked on your website and seen that we are Biker friendly and wanted to check us out, which is brilliant.
Thought you may appreciate the feedback too, although I'm sure you already know how great you are anyway!
Thank you
Angela
THE BIKER GUIDE - Angela, what a lovely message and so glad our visitors have found and visited your great place!
Blenkinsopp Castle Inn and Tea Room - We called into the tea rooms some weeks ago very hungry and we were very happy to find a very warm welcome and outstanding food and a good price.
We were so happy that we booked a over night stay some weeks later.
We were held up with M6 traffic and arrived late I called to advise them and the even kept some meals to one side for us.
The room and bed were outstanding.
These people truly are value for money true Northumberland hospitality at its best!
Just thought I would let you know we have our first Biker guests coming in week Monday.
They saw us via your website (in less than one month of us advertising with you).
Great stuff, keep them coming!

re Les Draps s'Or in Ardres nr Calais:
This place was an absolute find! Me and my mate were on our motorbikes and as soon as we arrived, a large warm, dry and secure double garage was opened for us to stow our bikes.
Inside the rooms are large, beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean.
Our host Hilary was so welcoming and lovely; e.g. she booked us a great restaurant a few minutes walk away (across the pretty square). The beds were comfy and breakfast was really tasty (all home jams & fresh local bread products, with good coffee & tea) and the prices were very reasonable - especially for the quality.
The B&B room are well segregated upstairs so there's no danger of feeling like an intruder. I really really recommend.

Cracking site for bringing the biking community together all over the country!
Found Bay Cottage on your website...
Beautiful accommodation with great attention to detail and use of local produce.
Wonderful, freshly prepared food (we also had evening meal.) Safe garaging for motorcycle. Hosts were welcoming, helped with satnav charging problem and provided useful local directions. Very enjoyable and comfortable stay ... top marks :)

Fantastic site and a wealth of information for planning my sight seeing Tour in Sept this year.
Just stayed a "The Firs" in Runswick Bay near Whitby in Yorkshire.
Couldn't fault the place large secure garage available by pre booking takes upto 10 bikes. Although hotel dry there several pubs/restaurants within walking distance and the breakfast is to die for. Great biking roads and close to Whitby if its too quiet.
Ive stayed at The Hopetoun Arms at Leadhills in Southlanarkshire Scotland twice with another 10 bikers.
Great hosts who work hard. Good home cooked food and lovverrly beeeers and all at a decent price.
I can thoroughly recommend Arden Cottage Bed and Breakfast in Williton, Somerset. Jane & Paul are fantastic hosts and will always go the extra mile for their guests. (pardon the pun!)
They are biker friendly too.
Visited the Doof Cafe, in Ruthin after seeing them in the booklet! Excellent food, very good choice and good value for money.

I just wanted to let you know how great I think THE BIKER GUIDE is!
I have been using it for over 5 years now, to buy stuff and to find places to stay. I have stayed in a lot of places with my fella and also with some friends in Scotland, Wales, the lakes and this year in France and Germany - they have all been very welcoming to me and my bike, have been top quality places and I have even been to some in the car during the winter months, because I know you only include the best places on here. ;)
I have to confess that I have in the past looked and other websites that 'supposedly' include biker friendly places and they are either very hard to use, have dead links, blank pages and even more annoyingly include places that were not Biker friendly and some were even being shut when we passed by.
I started to use THE BIKER GUIDE as they put a card on bike when I was at a show and I thought I would have a look. I don't even bother with the other websites now, as the places on here are so easy to find, with information on where to visit, eat and drink means the site must be run by Bikers (lol) - I think most of the other sites are just a money making venture as they don't include anything to want to make me stay anywhere!

“Highly Recommend The Guest House.”
My husband and I won a 2 night stay in The Guest House from THE BIKER GUIDE, so my review is totally honest.
Pre-arriving, I spoke to Jenny on the phone, and straight away SHe was very helpful.
We arrived, and met by a member of staff, who immediately called for Jenny who gave us a very warm welcome.
She showed us around her delightful house and took us to our room. It was beautiful. We stayed in the Blorange Room, which has amazing views over the Blorange Mountain and the lovely pets corner at the back of the house.
Jenny is a wealth of information on the local and surrounding areas, and very helpful.
She recommended a few eateries close by, and we visited 2 of them. The Hen and Chickens for lunch, and The Gurkhar Restaurant for Dinner.
Both were outstanding!
Actually when we were having lunch, Jenny and her husband Kevin arrived and invited us to join them for a drink, which we gladly did, and met the new Mayor of Abergavenny whilst there!
I had read reviews, and the breakfasts had a lot to live up to... we were not let down one iota!
Jenny and Kevin provide a breakfast which is more like a feast fit for a king, and everything is fresh and very tasty. The best breakfast I have had while staying in any accommodation.
We stayed for 2 nights, and both nights were very comfortable, the bed was perfect.
Everything possible was supplied in our room. The usual tea tray was better than average. Bath robes, shampoo, shower gel, cooling spray, a new razor all there to use.
We enjoyed a couple of hours in the back garden in the sun which was very nice with the animals. All the animals are very friendly without being too much, but I wouldn't have minded that at all. It was lovely to sit watching them all.
There is a very secure parking area out the back for motorbikes, which is ideal.
Jenny, Kevin and the staff at The Guest House treat every guest extremely well and make them feel at home. Every need is catered for.
They also have an excellent room downstairs which is perfect for disabled people, wheelchair users etc. Even the bathroom is wheelchair friendly.
I can't say enough about this place. It is most excellent, and very good value.
Please book if you are thinking of doing so, you won't be disappointed.
Thank you Jenny, Kevin, the staff and the animals for a stupendous break! We will return.
Just spent a fantastic few days staying with Andy & Jill at La Tringale in Normandy.
Really friendly people made us feel really welcome. Beautiful location, home cooked food, plenty of beer & wine. What more could you ask for. Excellent base for touring the area.
Thanks to Roger and Linda at Countryside Holidays in Brittany, France, for being such great hosts.
We have had a great week in the stone gite. This part of Brittany is truly stunning and not to be missed! We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be returning soon.
THE BIKER GUIDE - Many thanks for letting us know you had a great time staying @ Countryside Holidays in France.

I have been using THE BIKER GUIDE for years now to find places to stay - they have all been very welcoming and perfect for travelling on a Motorbike - although I have even been to some in the car!
I used to use other websites, most being hard to use and far too many having blank pages and places that were not Biker friendly and some very annoyingly being shut.
The team at THE BIKER GUIDE must work very hard as the places they include onto the website are firstly easy to find (Cumbria in one click thank you ;) ) they include easy to read information and they are always Biker Friendly.
I only use this website when looking for biker related information as it really is the 'Ultimate guide'!

After trying a few other websites that 'supposedly' advertise biker friendly places and getting virtually no response, I have recently signed up with THE BIKER GUIDE.
I cannot believe it took me so long, as within 3 weeks the 12 months advert I placed has already been paid for (and more) with a booking for next June. I am going to be honest - the other websites I have tried were cheaper, but you know a waste of money, £25 quid here, £35 there - it all adds up!
As an advertiser the service I got after filling in the form was brilliant. They took what I had wrote, added to it, tweaked it and added links - its a shame other websites do not care as much for their customers as most these days just take your hard earned cash, throw the listing onto the website (mistakes an all) and then phone your neighbours. Well done to THE BIKER GUIDE and the team there. ;)

I found a card at a café and also the booklet, along with a few of my friends saying how good the site was and how most Bikers use it now to find places to stay, so I thought I would give it a try.
I can see why it is popular as it is just so easy to use with good clear information.

Well done you, well done Roger and Linda.

Thanks to your excellent website Louise and I have just returned from a fifteen night tour of Spain and France.
We found the superb Burlaouen in Brittany on your site and would encourage any biker wanting a great, friendly holiday stay in France and brilliant, quiet roads to ride to give Roger and Linda a call. Their site is peaceful and the accommodation really nice, Roger has at least 17 old bikes to admire and he will let you ride a few around the paddock. We were very sad to leave.

I have over the past few years seen information on websites and papers on Biker Friendly cafes and meets and gone to check them out and then found that the places were either shut, not running a bikers night any more or just not Biker friendly. So when I found all the places listed here on the biker guide I was unsure wheather to go and check these places out.
Well I am glad I did, as I have now visited many cafes, a lot new to the scene, all of which I have found on here AND they were all open!
I would just like to say that the information you have on here is fantastic and refreshing correct (why is there so much incorrect information on other sites?) I do not even look anywhere else now for information as you guys do it so well.
Thanks and keep up the good work.

The breakfast was tasty and filling (full english). Also, the price of the accommodation is extremely reasonable, given the comfort and the level of service... First class!
Just back from a long weekend in Keswick having stayed at the Ravensworth House B&B, which I found on your website.
Great place to stay in the centre of Keswick. Very clean accomodation with a great breakfast and the hosts couldn't do enough for us, with recommendations for places to eat, sending us to a friendly local garage for a couple of minor repairs and sorting out some parking at the rear of their house.
Would recommend to anyone going to the area.

Fantastic site.
Hope to meet some of you in the pub!
Hi again Biker Guide we have started to book our adventures for next year Starting of with a 3 day road trip of Wales and staying at the Ysbryd-Y-Gwynt Bunkhoue (Featured on THE BIKER GUIDE www.bunkhouseuk.co.uk) in late April, before we head to cornwall early June to stay again at the Penmarlam site...
This time i make sure we send you some pics of our Road Trips...
Reply from THE BIKER GUIDE:
Joe, glad to see you and the gang are touring around the UK and visiting places who are included on the website. As you know we strive to include genuine Biker Friendly places and look forward to more feedback from you!
I would like to echo Joes comments about our stay at the Penmarlam Caravan & Camping Park, Bodinnick by Fowey. We had a great time and we are booking up again with Marcus for the third year running and think that the popularity of this holiday will see many more bikers coming along with us this year.

Well done Again THE BIKER GUIDE...
This time we stayed at the Bunkhouse at Greencarts Farm in Northumberland on a stop over of our Road Trip of Scotland. A great place to stay in beautiful surrondings and we was well looked after.

So glad you and the rest of the group are touring and finding that the places we have included on the website are Genuinely Biker Friendly!
We do try...
Recently stayed at the Bedingfeld Arms, in Norfolk. Good clean accomodation, fab food in the evening, full english b/fast to die for, brill choice of ale.
They have five rooms to choose from, 2 twin bed rooms, 2 doublebed rooms and a disabled room with twin beds in, all ensuite with tea and coffee and tv's.
Roads around there fab to have a play on. Had 3 good days, give it a go?
THE BIKER GUIDE: Glad you found a good place for Biker Friendly Accommodation on the website!
We stayed at Les Ballastieres in St Pol-sur-Ternoise, France, its a biker friendly B&B run by bikers in Northern France, fantastic facilities - drying facilities, small workshop and large games room, also wheelchair friendly, 5 mins from race track at Croix en Ternois, historic sites and medieval towns nearby. walking distance from town centre. A fantastic place to stay.

I stayed a couple nights at the MARKS FARM nr Kircudbright you have in the biker friendly accomodation in Dumfries and Galloway.
Extremely friendly great accomodation and use of a small lounge, felt more like a member of the family than a paying guest. If you like a real friendly reception its a top place.
Thanks Again 'THE BIKER GUIDE'.
This Time 15 of us went Back to The Penmarlem Camping Site in Cornwall...
Marcus and his team took great care of us. This is with out a doubt the best campsite for bikers in Cornwall, its in the perfect location to explore Devon and Cornwall. It has a well stocked shop and very clean shower blocks (even us bikers have to wash sometimes!) we will be back next year for our 3rd Annual tour of this lovely part of England.
So Thank you Marcus, everyone in our group had a great time.
Reply from THE BIKER GUIDE:
Joe, so glad you had a great time at Penmarlem, who are featured in the Biker Friendly Campsites section of the web-site.
We strive to include on the web-site genuine Biker Friendly places to stay at, including Campsites, B&B's, Hotels and Bunkhouses, that not only welcome and cater for owners of Motorbikes, are in areas which are of interest to the Biker Community and run by great people, such as Marcus!
Penmarlem Camping Site in Cornwall is certainly one of these and we are really glad to have introduced you and your mates to them!
Pictures please... Of course they will be clean due to the lovely showers
=;-.D
I was very moved by the story I SAW YOU on the Jokes and stuff page!
I really wish every one would just take that second look it only takes .65 seconds to look...take the time.

Hi Biker Guide
Just happen to be surfing and found this great site.I've put this into my favorites and will visit often!
I haven't found a site like this in the North American Continet yet. I'm a member of GWRRA Chapter "Y" On Canada, but haven't yet got over to the UK yet. If our dollar keeps rising like it is, I'll be there very soon.
Keep the rubber side down & the shiney side up.
All the Best. Doug C.

At last... a website that features genuine Biker Friendly places and many Biker owned. It must be run by Bikers!
I have used other so called 'Biker Friendly websites' for somewhere to stay in the past and when you get there they are either not Biker Friendly (they just want your money), have no facilties for parking (have lied on the advert) and as some websites just fill up with free crappy listings they are so hard to use and choose.
I once stayed somewhere which was on another Biker Friendly accommodation site who had no parking when we got there and were really off with us. We asked them why they bothered to advertise to Bikers and they said 'the advert was free and who cares when we have their money' Nice...
The Biker Guide site has a great collection of interesting places to stay - Ive stay at a Bunk in Wales, Camping in Cornwall and a B&B in Whitby so far and they were all run by genuine people and we had a fab time.
This website is a must for all Bikers... get it in your favourites now
Reply from THE BIKER GUIDE:
Many thanks for your comments Tracey and we are really glad you are happy with the places you have already stayed at.
We do not overload the web-site with lots of listings and we do vet places before including them - in fact we would only include a place that we would be happy to stay at.
Sorry to hear about the unfriendly Biker place you stayed at - one of the reasons we started the web-site!
You're doing stering work here - very pleased to see the "Magnificant
Seven" on the front page... as were they!
I also got very good feedback about your response to them when they contacted you and used the
Guestbook.
Many thanks to THE BIKER GUIDE for a great site, and sending us excellent customers, with bikes to drool over...

Ive just had a wonderfull stay at Arden Cottage, Williton, Somerset. They offered garaged parking and a perfect huge breakfast. I highly recomend this establishment who are listed on www.thebikerguide.co.uk.

Thanks for a great site. I will be using it regulaly,
Question, do you know of any European events similar to the UK camping weekends, 2-3 day rallys etc, especially france,
I'd appreciate your help
Martin
THE BIKER GUIDE replied:
Martin
We get lots of events sent over during the year and for the European events a little nearer the time. FARO in Portugal is very popular and BSH Heroes organise a great trip to it. There are a few Harley-Davidson ones - Super rally Greece and Centrum, Netherlands.
In France the one I know of is Bike Blessing in Brittany.
If I get something through I'll send it over to you.
Merry christmas and a happy new year from all the guys at the Fallen Heroes MCC, and a big thank you for such a great web site

I thinks this is a good site for bikers to look up rallys, events and hope it gets bigger with more events, rallys and biker info would be good thanks guys xx
THE BIKER GUIDE: We encourage all Bikers to send over any information on Rallies, Shows, events for inclusion onto the site, so that it can indeed grow and get bigger.
Just to keep you informed, we have sold approx 200 calendars and as the donation to NABD is £1 from the first one sold we have the start of a healthy donation.
As the set up costs for the calendar were huge we decided to donate £1 from everyone sold rather than when costs were covered. This is normal practice for many products with a charity donation and also from an administration perspective a more correct one.
We have managed to get press articles in a variety of local papers, including Birmingham Mail, Chester Chronicle, Tameside Reporter, Burton Mail, Stockport Express, Warrington Guardian, Lancaster Guardian and This is Bristol.
I would like to sincerely thank you for your support for The Biker Calendar for 2010.
Have a great Christmas and New Year!
