Blenkinsopp Castle Inn and Tea Room
In beautiful countryside, between Greenhead and Haltwhistle, just off the A69 a fabulous venue for Bikers to head to for excellent food and a warm ambience, overlooking the Heritage site of Blenkinsopp Castle. Renovated by the owners, Carol and Gary Stirling, into a pub and bistro, function room, an open Mic Event every third Sunday of the Month from 7pm to 10.30pm and various live music events.
Using a seasonal selection of local produce, for breakfast, lunch, daily specials, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, Sunday Roasts, Fish & Chips and a special bespoke High Tea menu. A traditional bar, with wooden beams and a roaring open fire, with a good selection of Beers, wine and bottled local real ales.
Oozing with history and charm, set against the backdrop of historic Hadrian's Wall in the heart of the glorious unspoilt Northumbrian countryside, Blenkinsopp Castle Inn is a stunning coaching inn dating back to the 13th century. B&B rooms available. Ample parking at the back of the pub. Open from 10am daily for quality food (until 8pm), drinks and is the perfect backdrop for a relaxed meal and drink and for get-togethers and meets.

Filling Station Cafe, Crosthwaite Rd, Keswick, Cumbria, CA12 5PR. Open daily with a bike night on Saturdays. Recommended by Dave Evans; "It's a small retro bike-themed diner with a 1960 classic motorcycle in the window. The food is excellent and they sell great proper coffee. There's ample parking and the cafe is only a few yards from the A66 at Keswick. The staff are very friendly and the food is of a high quality with good portion sizes. Highly recommended."
Hartside Top Cafe, Alston, Cumbria, CA9 3BW. Open daily March to October 09:00 - 17:00, November 10:00 - 16:00 and December until February according to weather. Fantastic views and great food in a cafe that stands in splendid isolation five miles from anywhere. Used as a staging post for rideouts by numerous biking groups and attracting up to 2,000 bikers at weekends in summer.

Orton Scar Café, Unit 1b, Silveryard, Orton, Penrith, Cumbria, CA10 3RQ. Recommended by Michael Palmer; "I called in one Sunday as there was a few bikers outside - The welcome I got was great. It has it's own private car park and seating outside. All day breakfast, take out menu and Sunday lunch. Will certainly be back".
