Haynes Breakfast Club

Calling all motoring enthusiasts! On the first Sunday of each month* we are running a breakfast club open to all marques. As well as meeting other vehicle owners, participants can chat over a coffee and a hearty breakfast (from a full English to a bacon roll) in Cafe 750. The very popular Museum cafe will be open from 9am. Please do come and join us for a likeminded get-together. 
These events are free to attend and are a real opportunity for vehicle owners to show off their prized possessions at the front of the prestigious Museum.

Daventry town centre is set to host the 7th Daventry Motorcycle Festival and organisers want to hear from individuals, businesses, groups or organisations that want to be part of this exciting event. This free family friendly bike festival will see an array of old and new bikes on display along with some great music and children’s entertainment.
The event is kicked off with a mass Ride-In - meets at 9am. Once again there'll be Live Music, Free Fun Fair, Stunt Show, Street Entertainment and lots of bikes. 2018 will also see the return of the Show & Shine Competition with more great prizes!

Northumberland & Borders Rally - Scatter Challenge

This is a scatter challenge - Come and test your riding skills on roads to suit your level, there is the choice of a coastal or countryside route or a mixture. 

Take in the fantastic countryside, see sights you might otherwise miss, ride great roads to suit all tastes. Mingle with other like-minded riders as you search for the answers to the clues. Choose from one of four levels from Bronze to Platinum, design your own route from a list of places supplied. There are plenty of options to suit all riders!

Join them and raise money for your favourite charity. Certificates are provided to show completion and proof of finish. Join them for a great day of riding.

Lincoln Bike Fest

Set around the historic Brayford Waterfront area of Lincoln with over 3,000 bikes of all shapes and sizes, this event has become one of the largest events in the Midlands. There is plenty to see and do with stalls, displays and a Show Bike Concours.

A day of music and entertainment, close to the centre of Lincoln with music from local bands. The area has a wide range of cafes, restaurants and pubs. An ideal place to relax and soak up the atmosphere!

Gasworth Jesters Charity Ride-out

Every year on the second Sunday in June the Gawsworth Jesters, organise a ride for their chosen charity of the year.
Each year the Jesters raise between £1200 - £2500 for charity. Over the past few years the Jesters have raised funds on their charity ride out for:-
Help for Heroes, Ruby's Fund, Bosley Mill Disaster, Macmillan Cancer Support, Prostate Cancer UK. This year they will again be supporting Prostate Cancer UK.

The ride this year will depart (10.30am) from Ruby's Fund in Congleton as normal, and will go into the Peak District (about 40 miles), ending up at a National Trust property with cafes, restaurants and gardens for people to wander round. Later they will return to Congleton.

This years ride will be dedicated to the memory of Tony Bailey, friend, colleague and fellow biker.

Tony suffered from Prostate Cancer for a number of years before his death in late 2017. If you were among those that attended the 2016 Jesters Charity ride, Tony (who was in remission at the time) did the ride with us.
Unfortunately he was unable to attend the 2017 ride as his health had deteriorated after the cancer returned.

Tony Bailey was the Chairman of the Northern Harley Club (NHC) and a life member, he was also a member of HOC (Harley Owners Club) and Rainy City Manchester.

What’s the Connection to the Gawsworth Jesters?
Both John Potts and David Moore are life members of the Northern Harley Club, and have known Tony for the last 20 years. Dave Bailey, Tony's son will be riding with us this year. We hope that as many bikes (for all kinds) will join with us for this ride in memory of Tony and help to raise as much as we can for Prostate Cancer UK.

Ride4Life Isle of Wight

The first annual Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Motorcycle Ride Out is taking place on the Isle of Wight. Starting and ending from Isle of Wight Steam Railway, the Mass Ride Out will take in the beautiful coastal scenery of the Island.
At the end of the Ride Out, participants will be given access to the facilities and the museum at Havenstreet Station. There will be a number of motorcycle stalls on the day.

The Old Goats Grumble is now in its fourth year and sells out every year, due to limited ticket availability.

A real family event, with over 20 different cask ales, cider and cocktail bar. A real emphasis on music of all genres, with quality bands and other acts playing through Friday and all day Saturday. Now in its 70th year, it is the largest gathering (500+) of pre-1931 motorcycles and 3-wheelers in the world and visitors will be able to see the motorcycles start and finish at the Museum. 

The Banbury Run is aimed at those who enjoy the thrill of riding with other Vintage, Veteran & Pioneer bikes. In addition to the Run, there will also be Club and Trade Stands, 100 Autojumble pitches and special interest displays within the Museum grounds. Camping is also available on the Saturday and Sunday night.

The Museum will be open from 9am – 5pm with the Banbury Run beginning at 10am. Riders will start at five per minute.

Dr B's Custom & Classic Bike Show

All the usual categories in what is always an incredibly diverse selection of bikes on show. Best under 250cc, Brit, V-Twin, Jap, Custom, Engineering, Streetfighter, Paintwork & Brightwork, Club Stand, OIdball, Best of Show etc. No alcohol on site, but ample cold soft drinks and BBQ food available all day. Bikes parking available on site, but cars will need to park off site in town. All money raised goes towards Barnardos Highclose School, on whose playing fields the show takes place.

Large motorcycle-only Show for pre-1990 machines with Club stands and parades of show bikes. In response to popular demand, pre-1990 motorcycles are eligible to enter the show.

Herefordshire on the Edge

An unique, non-competitive event navigation rally, restricted pre-1995 motorcycles and three-wheelers has proven hugely popular. A chance to explore the back roads of one of Britain's most attractive counties.

Designed to challenge entrant's riding and navigation skills over a range of surfaced roads. A list of 32 waypoints all around the borders of Herefordshire will be published 2 weeks before the event. Riders plan and follow their own route to visit as many of the waypoints as choose.
