Nestled in the vineyards between Cognac and Jarnac, lies Cour Des Cloches a friendly guesthouse. Originally a Cognac distillery, it has been converted into a B&B and has a large pool, terrace area and licensed bar, catering for 2 to 20 people. En-suite cosy rooms with king sized beds, toiletries and laundry facilities. For those who prefer a longer French adventure, gites are available. Evening meals on request using vegetables grown in their own organic garden. Places to visit include Cognac city, the beautiful village of Aubeterre sur Dronne, Oradour-sur-Glane; the village destroyed during World War II, the harboured city of Royan, St Emilion or simply walk to the neighbours along the country roads to taste their wine, champagne and cognac!
